What impact do you wish your poem would have ?

I would like my poem to have a psychological and social impact of influence. A positive influence of course, especially to society officials. I want to address the issues that has to do with psychiatric patients man handled by police officers for “the patients’ best interest.”

I need my poems to invoke a strong desire within one to want to know, understand and greatly express the inner core and center of their make up without limitation, so to eventually strive to live from inside out, and finally, in many ways fearlessly express who they truly are without an inch of doubt, hesitation and compromise.
